About the Exhibit

“In every season, God provides.”

Tammy Medlin presents a solo exhibit titled Seasons at The Kairos Gallery

Lowcountry weather suggests we have but two seasons… Spring and Summer! If you’ve lived in other parts of the country you may have experienced four distinct seasons and all the sensory transitions that accompany them. While the artwork in this exhibit may feel like a mere walk thru the meteorological seasons, you’re invited to look further and consider what these images represent for you… a time, a place, a feeling, a color, or an experience… perhaps a season of life.

It seems cliche to reference “seasons of life” yet we all have them. Seasons of growth and renewal, of reflection, of joy. We also have seasons of grief, of loss, or desolation. Some seasons of life we perceive as good, others not so, but all of them are an opportunity for reflection and growth, and most importantly, an encounter with the living God. However you may view seasons, the one thing the Christian can be assured of is God’s grace, provision, and presence. During every season, every transition, His glory and goodness is steadfast.

Landscape painting titled "High Country Splendor" by artist Tammy Medlin

“High Country Splendor”

Let us behold the gifts of each and every season, and know that His magnificent creation is the canvas that beautifully reflects His glory, His splendor, and His eternal love for each of us.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
(Ecclesiastes 3:11)
